How to Draw a Ferrari
- Draw the main outline.
Start drawing by building baselines. Define the outer edges of the body of the car using thin lines that can be easily removed if needed.
- Detail the outer contour of the car.
Using curved lines draw the outline of the front and rear of the car. Use semicircular lines and depict the front and rear wheel arches.
- Sketch out the windows.
The Ferrari’s windows have an unusual shape. Using straight lines draw the visible parts of the front and back windows, then draw the side window which has an elongated shape.
- Depict the door.
Use smooth lines and draw the outline of the door. Draw a horizontal line at the bottom, detail the hood and add some transverse lines on the side window.
- Add structural elements and detail the body.
Draw the side mirror, which consists of several elements. Using smooth lines, detail the window, front, and top of the car.
- Draw the headlights.
Depict the front and rear lights, which consist of several segments. Take your time during this step and try to draw the same lines as in the example.
- Detail the body of the car.
Now you have to depict the unique volume that the body of the Ferrari car has. To do this, draw thin curved lines of various shapes.
- Depict the wheels.
Draw several even circles of different diameters in order to depict the outer and inner contours of the wheels. Then draw small connecting lines from the wheels to the body of the car.
- Add the rims.
First, draw a small circle in the center of each wheel, draw the five-pointed star around this circle, and add a few more circles of different diameters.
- Add the hatching.
In the last step of drawing, add short dashed lines on the body of the car, so you can indicate the dark areas and raised elements in your drawing.
