How to Draw a Car from the Side
- Draw the main outline.

- Begin to give the car the desired shape.
Now draw the sides of the car in more detail using curved lines. With the help of semicircular lines draw two wheel arches.
- Depict the windows.

- Add the doors and detail the windows.
Using smooth lines, draw the outline of the front and back doors. Draw a smooth parallel line along the top outline of the side window and add some cross lines.
- Detail the front of the car and add small elements.
Use a smooth line to give the hood the desired shape. Draw the side mirror, add oval-shaped door handles and draw the small “fin” on the roof of the car.
- Draw the headlights.
Now you have to detail the bumper and draw the front and rear lights, which have a complex shape and consist of several elements. Take your time and carefully draw all the lines.
- Detail the body of the car.
Draw thin longitudinal lines along the body of the car and draw semicircular lines above the wheel arches. This way you will depict the relief and give the drawing a more realistic look.
- Depict the wheels.
Draw several even circles of different diameters to represent the front and rear wheels. Then draw short connecting lines from the wheel to the body of the car.
- Sketch out the rims.
Draw small circles in the center of the wheels and add a few more circles around. Draw straight lines from the center of the rims to the outer edge and depict the same curly elements.
- Add the hatching.
Draw thin short strokes to indicate the darkened space behind the wheel, also add hatching on the body of the car, on the windows and on all the voluminous details of the car.
